Here is a Vintage Folberth Windshield Wiper Motor- specific application unknown. I am guessing this is from the 1920's or 30's perhaps Jeep or Truck applications? The shaft turns with mild resistance and pushes some air. I believe it would increase air flow it there were to be a lever knob on the end of the shaft thus increasing the leverage to turn the shaft faster.
