Here's a vintage auto accessory ash tray that is designed to be attached with screws to a flat surface. I don't know if this is "correct" for any specific make and model car. I listed it under several vehicles from the early era. Approximately 5" x 3 3/8". The receiver can be removed from the body for emptying. The fit is pretty tight, though. I guess that's good.
