This unit replaces the stock hydraulic brake light switch when you upgrade to a dual master or replace the old unit. This will relocate the switch to the brake pedal area. No drilling required. You will need to extend the wires from the stock plug to this switch. You can leave the old switch in place to plug up the hole there or buy a new plug fitting.
