This shifter has been modified by me to use needle bearings and needle thrust bearings. All the plastic and fibre washers have been removed. The shift pattern is approximately 40% shorter than stock and will never have any play or slop, It is in a one word description "CHRISP" The installation is relatively easy and takes about 90 minutes Porsche people that have shifted my 996 rave about the shifting and ask me to make a shifter for them.
