4WD shift gate for an NP242 transfer case on a ZJ (93-98 Jeep Grand Cherokee). For those doing a 249 to 242 transfer case swap, the 249 and 242 shift gates are different. The 242 shifter gate has a detent about 3/4 of the way down, the 249 does not have a detent at all. This 242 gate will prevent accidental shifting into N or 4LO because of the detent in the gate.
