This is a right rear axle support tube / axle shaft housing off a 1968 Mercedes Benz 280SE. I took the first layer of dirt, oil, grease off, but it will probably need a more thorough cleaning. But functionally, it is in great shape. The backing plate is a little out of round, but it’ll be a quick fix to straighten it out. The tube is straight.
