This is a NOS (new old stock) manual gear shift lever rubber boot made by Nissan Japan. This boot is located at the very bottom of the shift lever where it meets the transmission and it seals the lever to the top of the transmission at the pivot, preventing water and dirt from getting inside the shifting mechanism.
