These are brand new speedometer housings for 1955-1957 Chevy's with the Cast Iron Powerglide transmission.Original housings were made without any internal seals, so eventually they all develop leaks between the housing and the gear. This housing has been reproduced to the tight tolerance fit like the original design, but we also added an internal metal clad seal for extra leak protection.We have also included the o-ring seal on the outside of the housing.
