1930's 1940's Chevrolet Knee Action Rear? Delco Shock (1937-1948?) #26

Chevrolet knee action shock. I think these are for the rear, but I am not sure. I am not sure the year these go to. Possibly between 1937-1948, but they may not fit all those years. I am not sure if this is a left or a right. Also not sure if they are passenger car or truck. Please verify that they are correct for your application. Part numbers 1053005, R-29.
