Here is a very rare Lucas Sports Coil from the 1940s or 1950s. These units were sold as a performance upgrade, producing a hotter spark than a normal ignition coil. These older style Sports Coils rarely turn up, and almost never in a condition as nice as this one. It has been cleaned and repainted in the original hammered gold color scheme, and we have tested it and found that it produces sparks when called upon to do so.
