This is a classic rear trunk lamp which is a super nice vintage part from the 1940s or 1950s and will work on any vehicle made during that time period. It has a spring loaded push switch which is mounting on the side, a glass lens which is painted red on one side so that when you open you trunk lid or bin lid the red portion shines to the rear. Real heavy duty piece in great condition which is marked "John W. Hobbs Corp" on one side. Would also be great for a restored fire truck or utility style...
