Vintage Assist Straps 1920’s 1930's 1940's Chevy Ford Dodge Cadillac Oldsmobile?

These are NOS assist straps. I’m not sure of the manufacturer or application. They’re solid but will need some work as far as cleaning and some rust on the metal. I’m not actually sure how these install. They might be missing another piece for installation but please judge for yourself from the pictures....
