It's NOS for all 1955 V8 Plymouths, but....there apparently was a reaction in the original plating, so it looks like it has a matte clear finish on it in random spots (see photos). It is completely smooth - there are no places where the chrome has flaked or chipped off. It would be a beautiful core for rechroming. The only thing wrong with it is the finish. There are no pits, scratches, dings, or chips. Thank you for looking JC Auto Restoration...
