Here is a License Plate Topper that was used on vehicles during World War 2 In the 1940's and thru the 1950's. Note the Morse Code. Part Number VTL-0001 Back when these were made, they did not have reflective materials like we do today, but they would sprinkle glass beads in the wet printed ink, and when it hits the light just right, it "lights up".
