1933-1953 Buick NOS 180 degree thermostat 1164290 Product DescriptionNOS genuine GM 180 degree thermostat, part number 1164290. This fits all Straight Eight engines from 1933 - 1953 - Series 40, 50, 60, 70, 80 and 90 - Special, Super, Century, Roadmaster and Limited. As you can see from the pictures, all GM did was re-box a Dole thermostat. And they weren't very accurate on the degrees, either, since Dole marked this as 178 degrees, not 180 that Buick says.
