35 36 Ford Car Truck Crank Out Windshield Regulator Mechanism Slips, Not Working

This listing is for a windshield crank-out regulator from a 1935 Ford car, should fit 35-36 car and trucks. This came out of a car I parted out, and I sold it once and it seemed to work really well when I had it. But the buyer had an issue with it and sent it back, and now it doesn't work right. It's not stuck, the gears that are visible look really good and it has good splines, but one arm goes one way and the other gear doesn't keep up, or sometimes goes the other way.
