This is an original NOS 1964 Ford Galaxie Lighter Knob and Lighter Bezel. These original lighter parts are new old stock Genuine Fomoco, never installed on a car. They were found in the attic of an old Ford dealership over 35 years ago. As the original Fomoco box states, this was originally a complete lighter assembly, but evidently a dealership service tech removed only the lighter element, slipping the new knob and bezel back in the box.
