This thermostatic factory oil filter base was removed from a 1981 Porsche 924 Turbo. This allows fitment of an external oil cooler in the stock configuration. May also be used as part of oil cooler retrofitting into non-turbo 2.0L 924 applications without the need for an aftermarket sandwich plate adapter.
