This is a temperature sensing device that controls the "Ext Temp" (catalytic converter over-temperature) warning light.It mounts under the passenger side dashboard. My car did not have a catalytic converter when I bought it so I have no way of knowing if this works. Used on various car models and years.See pictures. Last picture shows its location in the wiring diagram. Please examine pictures carefully to insure it will fit your car....
