1920's 1930's Large Suicide?? Door Latch Gm Lincoln Ford Cadillac Packard Mopar

This is a large door latch from a 1920's or 1930's car or possibly a truck. It has a square shaft for the handle. The plate measures about 7" x 5" with a jamb of about 1 1/4". The door remote is located in the latch plate. Not sure if its right, or left or what car is goes on. If there was a spring on the remote, its gone now. The other latch spring is good. It has a lock feature by pushing the handle down. If you have an idea of what this fits on, I would appreciate knowing. Looks a little like...
