Vintage Oem 1967 Volvo 1800 Speedometer, Usa Mph Untested

I believe that when the tach was replaced in the 90s, he purchased the tach and speedometer as a set and only replaced the tach and am guessing this should work but do not know for sure. You are purchasing this knowing that I do not know if it functions or not. On all the items he had, he had notes stating if they were good or not and this does not say.  The odometer read 25,838 miles and looks like new. Been in storage for 30 plus years inside his house....
