I’m not an authority on this 9000 RPM tachometer, but I assume it was manufactured in 1979 from a date stencil on the underside of the mounting bracket. I’ve placed a blue tape tag on each wire to make identification easy. Tach connects with 1 wire to negative side of coil. Other wires light up the dial face.
