59 1959 Vdo Vintage 30-30 Amp Gauge - Vw Porsche Mercedes ?

I do not know what this originally came with.I am thinking VW Porsche or Mercedes... but that is just a guess Date stamp says manufactured in 1959. Case/Body diameter is 2"Most of this gauge is in good condition. The bezel looks ok from face on, but is pretty beat up.Gauge tested functional.Thanks for looking and Good Luck, Pete...
