This is a front Hood Badge for the 1948 Oldsmobile car. It is in next to mint condition - it only needs to be painted in the shield & black rings areas. The chrome is perfect. No scratches, chips or pitting. You would be proud to put this on your Oldsmobile. It's made in the USA. P/N 554896. It even has the two original mounting washers & square nuts. I'll wrap with plenty of padding for protection during shipment. Your satisfaction is guaranteed. I'll only ship this item to the lower USA states...
