Jaguar Cars made the exclusive and very fancy Vanden Plas series in the 1980's based on the XJ6 and XJ12 Series III. The Vanden Plas V12 version was made until 1992. The VP models had unique seats and carpets, a higher grade wood trim, their own paint colors and other exclusive appointments.
