New camshaft angle sensor, Mazda MX5 mk2 & mk2.5 1.6 or 1.8 cars, 1998 to 2005. New, aftermarket camshaft angle sensor, Mazda MX5 mk2 & mk2.5 (NB) 1.6 or 1.8 (non-VVT) cars, 1998 to 2005. Equivalent to Mazda Part no. BP4W18230. This is the sensor that bolts to the front of the engine through the cam cover and picks up the rotation of the cam pulley. Note that this does not fit the mk2.5 1.8 (with the VVT BP6D engine) where the sensor goes on the top of the cam cover at the rear of the inlet cams...
