This item came from a restorers auction. You are purchasing (1) used star hood ornament from an earlier 53 or later Mercedes Benz. Part number 180 888 0217 is cast into the base. The chrome shines good. The 3 inch star has very tiny pitting. The base does have more pitting and some crazing. The spring is there but the tension is not what it should be making the star a little loose. Includes the retainer. Please verify your application.
