This original hood ornament likely came off a car from the 1970s and was part of a collection. It is believed to be from a Mercury, Monarch, it has an open design, may be mis-identified. The hood ornament was connected via an attaching hole at the base, which is BROKEN. Finish and details are very good, there is age, use and storage wear. Been in a box on a shelf for many years.
