This is a 37 tooth ring gear, aka crown gear from a 1972 Triumph MkIV or 1500 Spitfire. When used with a standard nine tooth pinion gear, it results in a 4.11:1 rear end ratio which is great for acceleration. It came from a collection of parts from an ex-SCCA racer.
