You are bidding on a differential housing and axles.  The axles are clearly not for this housing. I know nothing about axles or housing history.  I’m thinking it came from a p/u or 1940’s Merc because of a running board in the pile of parts that is for a 1942 Mercury. Axles are 5 on 5.  Housing looks to be late 1930's or early 1940's (50’s even?) because of the large diameter brake lines and cool tee anchor vent?
