This is the panel that is below the steering wheel on the lower part of the dashboard on 1985 - 1991 Chevy Vans and GMC Vanduras. This does NOT have the styrofoam backer like the newer vans do starting in 1992. The color is GRAY NOTE: This one has the "slot" along the lower edge (between the large 10mm bolt holes), this one came from a 1991 model. There is some cracking around the lower bolt mount holes.
