1962 Ford Fairlane Trunk/tail Light Finish Panel

1962 Fairlane tail finish panel. This is a used piece with some waves around the center gas filler area. It should straighten out for the most part once installed. The finish is very bright but there's no paint remaining on the checkered area. Almost looks like it never had paint? It hasn't been buffed, just cleaned with a cleaner wax and fine steel wool. Will need some additional cleaning in the ribbed areas. We'll be adding a lot of Ford trim in the next few months, and a lot of it has no part...
