This is a used solenoid, which I have checked with a 6 volt battery and it works as designed. The resistance reading was 2.5 ohms. Autolite is the brand, and stamped on the shell is SSS-4003. Application is as follows: 1949-1953 Chrysler, DeSoto and Dodge cars. Price shown is for ONE solenoid. Thanks for looking....
