We've now reproduced the original cap and retainer for all GM cars 1964-75 Chevelle / Monte Carlo / Camaro / Cutlass / Nova / GTO / Skylark / Firebird / Impala and El Camino models. The retainer attaches behind the alternator post lead. The retainer is commonly missing with rebuilds, or a generic washer was used. This has the clip end to accept the cap.
